 Dr. Sabitha MBBS., MD., Director of Malar Hospital, Krishnagiri also Professor in Govt. Medical College, Krishnagiri conducted an interactive session with a PowerPoint presentation explaining hormonal and adolescence changes.

Discussed physical, cognitive, and psychological developments during puberty in a simple, comforting manner. Emphasized the role of a healthy diet in overall growth and emotional balance. Addressed puberty and menarche sensitively, helping students understand changes in their bodies with confidence. Guided students on washroom usage and maintaining urinary hygiene to prevent infections. Demonstrated proper disposal of sanitary napkins and shared tips on period hygiene.

Raised awareness on the POCSO Act and staying safe from any form of child abuse. Highlighted common health risks during adolescence and preventive care. Encouraged students on how to handle emotional and social challenges faced during this stage.

Conducted a Q&A session, where students freely asked doubts.

Dr. Sabitha patiently answered with care and understanding, creating a safe space for open discussion.

2. What is the HPV vaccination and how is it related to cervical cancer?

3. Why does the menstrual cycle occur only in females?

4. What causes irregular periods and its symptoms?

5. How is gut health connected to menstrual health?

8. What are the symptoms of pre-menstruation?

9. What is white discharge and what medications are used for it?

10. How can vaginal cleanliness be maintained?

Students became more aware of their physical and emotional changes.
