Learning Objectives

1. To understand the different types of homes described in the poem Homes.
2. To develop observation skills by identifying homes of people and animals.
3.  encourage creativity through model-making of various homes.
4. To enhance vocabulary related to homes (e.g., kennel, hive, nest,).
5. To instill appreciation for nature and the diversity of living spaces.

Procedure:

• Teacher read aloud and explained the poem Homes.
• Class discussed the various types of homes mentioned.
• Students were assigned to prepare models of different homes.
• Each child presented their home model to the class, explaining its features.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the session, students were able to:

1. Recall and name different types of homes from the poem.
2. Identify which home belongs to which creature or person.
3. Create models of homes using various materials.
4. Express their ideas confidently in front of peers. 
5. Demonstrate teamwork and creativity in their work.
