The Principal conducted a comprehensive awareness programme on drug prevention for students of Classes VI to VIII, emphasizing that drug awareness is the need of the hour.

A detailed PowerPoint Presentation was displayed highlighting key messages such as:

  • Your life is precious
  • Your brain is powerful
  • Your future is bright

The importance of saying "No" confidently.
The Principal clearly explained about the harmful effects of smoking, cool lip products, liquor consumption, and other substance abuse. He stressed that drugs never appear dangerous at first but slowly destroy health, peace, family trust, and future dreams. The PPT included impactful images showing how vital organs such as the lungs, mouth, and tongue are severely affected in drug addicts. These visuals created a deep impact among the students, who observed the session with seriousness and concern. The shocking reality enlightened their minds about the irreversible damage caused by addiction.

A medical awareness video featuring a doctor was also presented. The doctor scientifically explained the harmful chemicals present in drugs, including nicotine and other toxic substances, and detailed how these chemicals gradually weaken the organs and reduce life expectancy. The explanation was clear, informative, and age-appropriate.

The Principal further guided students on:

  • Resisting peer pressure
  • Choosing good friendships
  • Developing healthy habits like sports and reading
  • Focusing on goals and personal growth

The session concluded with a solemn pledge taken by all students, promising to stay away from drugs and to spread awareness among friends and family. The programme was highly informative, thought-provoking, and impactful, leaving a strong message about leading a healthy and responsible life.
