PRELYA – Children’s Day Celebration 
On Wednesday, 19th November 2025, the Children’s Day Celebration for Classes 1 and 2 of Senthil Public School, Salem, unfolded with great fanfare at the vibrant Kandasamy Convention Hall. The event, fittingly titled “PRELYA – Prism of Talents,” turned out to be a feast for the senses, proving that our little ones are truly stars in the making.

The celebration began on a serene note with a Prayer Song, followed by a warm Welcome Address that set the stage for a day brimming with excitement. The dignitaries were introduced and honoured with heartfelt appreciation, giving the event a flying start.

The event was presided over by the members of the Management — Shri. Senthil C. Kandasamy, Chairman; Smt. K. Manimekalai Kandasamy, Vice Chairman; Shri. K. Dhanasekar, Secretary; Smt. D. Deepthi Dhanasekar, Correspondent; Dr. T. Sundaresan, CEO; Shri. C. Srinivasan, Senior Principal; Dr. V. Manoharan, Principal; Mr. S. Praveen Kumar, Administrative Officer; Ms. S. Nalini, Vice Principal and Ms. S. Priya, Senior Academic Coordinator. The Academic Coordinators of Classes 1 and 2, Ms. T. Elavarasi and Ms. Yamini Sneha, along with other Academic Coordinators, also graced the occasion with their presence, adding strength and stature to the celebration.

The highlight of the morning was the presence of the Chief Guest, Smt. P. Maheshwari, M.Sc., M.Phil., B.Ed., Chief Education Officer (CEO), Salem District. Her Children’s Day Message struck a chord with the audience as she urged students to dream big, stay on the right track, and grow into confident individuals who can move mountains with hard work and determination.

One of the most awaited moments of the day was the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where achievers from Classes 1 and 2 walked up the stage with heads held high to receive appreciation for their excellence in 100% attendance, academics, co-curricular activities, and sports. Their beaming smiles truly spoke a thousand words.

The cultural performances that followed were nothing short of delightful. The tiny tots danced, sang, acted, and showcased their talents with full-of-beans enthusiasm. Their innocence and energy kept the audience glued to their seats, proving that childhood indeed is the golden age of creativity.

The celebration wrapped up with a sincere Vote of Thanks and the solemn National Anthem, bringing the memorable event to a graceful close. PRELYA 2025 stood as a shining reminder that every child is a prism of possibilities, and when given the right stage, they truly shine bright like diamonds.
