English Activity – Jack and the Special Beans

Content:   The English teachers of Grade 1 presented a lively and engaging skit on “Jack and the Special Beans.” The students of Grades 1 and 2 witnessed the performance with great enthusiasm and joy.

​Key concepts learnt through today’s activity:

• ​The skit brought the story to life through expressive dialogue, actions, and simple costumes, making the learning experience joyful and memorable. The children were completely involved, showing keen interest and active participation throughout the session.
• ​After the skit, an interactive question-and-answer session was conducted, where students confidently shared their understanding of the story, characters, and moral values. This activity helped enhance their listening skills, comprehension, vocabulary, and speaking confidence.
• ​Overall, the session promoted experiential learning, encouraged imagination and creativity, and reinforced moral values in a fun and meaningful way. It was a delightful learning experience that left the children inspired and eager to learn more through stories.
