“ARTIST MANIAM AWARD”
                                                                                             AT CHITHIRAI CHITHTHIRAM 2025
The “Chithirai Chiththiram 2025” Art Competition, organised by the Sri Ranga Academy of Fine Arts, was conducted throughout the month of December. As part of the competition, students from across the region participated by creating and submitting artworks daily for a month based on the given themes.

Among these talented participants, our school student K. A. Hanish of Class VII excelled through his creativity, consistency, and artistic brilliance, and was awarded the prestigious “Artist Maniam Award.” At the end of the competition, his selected artworks were displayed at a Grand Art Exhibition held at Sri Bakyalakshmi Mahal, Thuraiyur, where the paintings were also exhibited for sale and received a good response from visitors.

K. A. Hanish received the “Artist Maniam Award” for his outstanding excellence in art and painting. This honour is instituted in memory of the legendary artist T. U. Subramaniam (Artist Maniam), who is widely recognised for his significant contributions to fine arts, classical depictions, and historical illustrations.

This remarkable achievement reflects the school’s unwavering dedication in discovering, shaping, and elevating young talents by providing grand opportunities for students to shine and exhibit their artistic excellence on recognised and prestigious platforms.
