CFPD – 1st International Open FIDE Rating Chess Tournament – 2026
Our student, Sugirthanavarman M of Class III–E, participated in the CFPD – 1st International Open FIDE Rating Chess Tournament – 2026, organized by the Chess Federation for Physically Disabled.

The tournament was held at M. Kumarasamy College of Engineering from 11.02.2026 to 15.02.2026. He competed in 9 rounds and scored 5 points.

We are proud to inform you that he won a cup, a cash award of Rs. 500, and a Certificate of Merit for his commendable performance.
