Activity-1 Date: 14 August 2026 “REMEMBRANCE OF UNSUNG HEROES” Day: Friday As part of the celebrations commemorating the 80th Independence Day of India, the English Club organised an inspiring English Colloquium titled “Remembrance of Unsung Heroes” on 14 August 2026 at 2.00 p.m. in the Biology Lab. The programme was conceived with the noble purpose of remembering the countless freedom fighters and ordinary citizens whose sacrifices, courage and patriotism contributed to India’s freedom, yet whose names and stories have often remained outside the pages of popular history. The colloquium provided the students with a meaningful platform to express their thoughts in English, develop their communication skills and, above all, understand that the freedom enjoyed today was built upon the sacrifices of many known and unknown heroes.
