Activity 1 - DATE: 18.08.2025 & 20.08.2025 VENUE: SMS - Basement/ Seminar hall DAY: Monday & Wednesday ACTIVITY: Health Club Activity “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” “He who has health has hope; and he who has hope, has everything.” Health consists of maintaining the body and taking preventive measures to reduce the possibility of developing various diseases. Health is the body’s natural functional and metabolic efficiency to adapt to physical and mental changes the body is exposed to. Having good health helps a person to perform their daily routine in a smooth manner. As a result, health should be valued and continuously maintained. Eyes are crucial for vision, allowing us to perceive the world around us and interact with it effectively. Our health club has scheduled an eye camp for everyone in the campus. To do this noble job today, we have invited Dentist Dr. Sundar and Team of Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital doctors. 18.08.2025 – Class III, IV & V 20.08.2025 - Class VI, VII, VIII, IX & X Over 1300 students from the school were examined their eye. Eye camp is an essential component of healthcare in communities that lack access to proper eye care. These camps provide an opportunity for medical professionals to diagnose and treat the students effectively by improving their vision and overall quality of life. The setup, process, and treatment provided at these camps are well planned and executed to ensure the best possible care for students. They were then advised about the future course of action that they would have to take.
Activity 2 - Date: 20.11.2025 Day: Thursday “The convergence of Genuinely Genius-The Club Mela-2025” Health Club (Theme - Health Awareness) Activity: Impacts of Yoga in our life The Health Club conducted a brief awareness session highlighting the importance of physical and mental well-being. Students were reminded that good health requires regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and stress management. A short demonstration on yoga was presented, covering Nadi Shuddhi Pranayama, Bhastrika, and Bhujangasana and eye exercise emphasizing their benefits on flexibility, concentration, immunity, and emotional balance. The event encouraged students to follow healthy habits and understand the role of yoga in improving overall wellness. The programme effectively promoted health awareness and motivated students to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
