Activity-1 Date: 12.08.26 “Celebration of National Librarian’s Day” Day: Wednesday The Reader’s Club of our school conducted a Library and Reading Awareness Programme with great enthusiasm and active participation from the students. The programme was organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the Father of Indian Library Science, whose birthday is celebrated as National Library Day. A team of Reader’s Club members explained the Five Laws of Library Science given by Dr. S. R. Ranganathan. The Class 9 team was headed by the Assistant Secretary, Master. Sourish Adhitya. He gave the introduction and explained the Fifth Law. The other members presented the remaining laws to the class XI students. Kumari. Srishka presented the First Law, Kumari. Salome presented the Second Law, Kumari. Mahathi Prathiksha presented the Third Law, and Master. Vimalesh presented the Fourth Law.The programme was informative and inspiring, encouraging students to develop the habit of reading and make the best use of the school library.
